Throughout the year I'll be highlighting memorials of historical aviation crashes in the South West, so keep checking back regularly to see what's being commemorated.
The unveiling of Morchard Bishop Memorial 6th November 1994
This memorial was a project led by Graham for two Halifax bombers which collided over the village in Devon on the night of 15th November 1944.
13 aircrew were killed with only one survivor who at a later date went missing on ops in 1945.
This photo shows Miss Leona Boss (the lady in red) the sister of one of the crewmen, who, at the age of 90 flew over from Canada for the unveiling ceremony.
